The Dawes is a new two-tower condo development from Marlin Spring that will be coming to Danforth Village. The two towers will be connected by a podium at the six-storey level.

Livable_ by BuzzBuzzHome states that The Dawes will offer the last chance to get in on the ground floor of a neighbourhood on the rise. The project will include the following:

 - Contain 631 suites

 - South Tower will be 38 storeys

 - North Tower will be 24 storeys

 - Connected by a podium with retail

 - 27,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space dedicated to residents' needs

 - Amenities will be spread out over first, third, fourth, fifth and seventh floors

 - Two storey fitness studio

 - Wellness centre with exercise, cardio and weight training areas

 - Art studio

 - Pet wash

 - Meeting room for work projects

 - Co-working lounge

 - Library lounge

 - Screening Room

 - Indoor dining area

 - Indoor kids' area

 - Social lounge

 - Gaming room

 - Outdoor dining area

 - Outdoor kids' play area

 - Outdoor BBQ and lounge

An article in Urban Toronto states that while the new mixed-use development will host office and retail spaces in its podium, it will also have a renovated 1906-built grain elevator and mill that will house a new daycare facility.

The IBI Group-designed development will feature suites with 9 foot ceilings and laminate flooring. It will also have a U31-designed lobby which will offer 24 hour concierge service next to a mail and parcel room.

Unique to The Dawes is its heritage, 3 storey, 1906 grain elevator and mill at 10 Dawes Road, a renovation which will incorporate it into the overall development and turn it into a brand new daycare facility just steps from the front doors.

The Main Street subway station will be a block away and the new east entrance to Danforth GO station will be even closer and will make it very easy to get to the downtown core.
