Community leaders recently gathered at 902 Peace Road for a groundbreaking ceremony, celebrating the $23 million investment that will bring the city’s first Marriott property to life.
The project will feature a four-story hotel with 120 rooms, split between 61 branded as Fairfield Inn and Suites and 59 branded as TownePlace Suites. Once completed, this development will mark DeKalb’s third hotel, helping expand accommodations for business travelers, families, and visitors alike.

A proposed 10-year tax-sharing agreement between EO5 Hotels and the City of DeKalb may offset up to $2 million in costs, though final approval by the City Council is still pending.
