Carttera Private Equities has broken ground for an 18 storey office development at 65 King Street East in downtown Toronto according to Ontario Construction Report. The building was designed by WZMH Architects and IBI Group.
The project team includes PCL Construction, CBRE, Entuitive, Soberman Engineering, Smith + Andersen, Jag-con and Ecovert.
- An advanced in-floor HVAC system
- High efficiency dimmable LED lighting
- 174 secured bike stalls for tenants
- Shower facilities and change rooms for those commuting to work via bike
According to 65 King East, this project is just steps to King & Yonge, the Financial Core and less than a 10 minute walk to Union Station with seamless connections to the TTC, Go Transit, Via Rail and the UP Express.
