Line 5 Condos by Reserve Properties and Westdale Properties is getting closer to construction on Broadway Avenue in Midtown Toronto. IBI Group designed the complex which will consist of two towers. One will be 33 storeys and the other will be 36 storeys high with a combined total of 937 units and will be located in one of the city's fastest growing neighborhoods per Urban Toronto.
The area at Yonge and Eglinton is emerging as one of the most connected and important mobility hubs in the country with $5.3 billion in capital investment and 19km of rapid transit intersecting Toronto's main subway artery. Line 5 Condos is responding directly to the changes in the way Torontorians live their lives. The buildings have a mid-century design while updating the typology through contemporary touches. The ground floor will have curtain wall glazing, ironspot brick as framing, composite wood panel accents around the doorways and polished granite around the drive court.
The main architectural feature will be the balcony forms which will alternate every floor by flipping at a point past midway on the frontage where they begin to angle further out from the building. The balcony guards will be clear glass to maximize the views and will also have sections of black perforated metal which will spring diagonally from the pinch point to the balcony's widest extent.

The condo is likely to have two-level underground parking that can accommodate over 260 vehicles. Of these, 212 will be reserved for the residents and the remaining for the visitors. There will also be 826 slots for bicycle parking of which 740 will be reserved for residents.
