Construction still has not begun on the massive development proposed by the Daniels Corporation but their new sales centre is open at their master-planned community at Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton in Mississauga.
The National Post states that the development known as Kindred Condos will consist of condos, rental apartments and seniors residences designed by Toronto's Kirkor Architects and Planners. Daniels Erin Mills is one of the largest master-planned communities currently under development in the GTA.
The building is geared towards both up-sizers and down-sizers. Some of Kindred's two bedroom plus den suites will consist of nearly 1,000 square feet.
"On the one hand, we are hearing from a lot of people who are selling their family homes and are looking for something that's smaller and more manageable but still spacious. On the other hand, there's also a lot of interest among people who are in a studio or one-bedroom and are looking for more space for their growing families."

Kindred's 325 units will feature the following:
- Nine foot smooth-finish ceilings in living and dining rooms
- Kitchens equipped with custom designed cabinetry, undermount sinks, 24 inch refrigerators and integrated dishwashers
- Electric cooktops and wall ovens with hood fans
- Larger units will have islands or peninsulas with built in microwaves
- All units will offer 24 inch side-by-side front-load washers and dryers
- Quartz slab backsplashes & black faucets in kitchens and bathrooms
- Second and eighth floors will offer amenities
- Concierge staffed lobby
- Co-working space including meeting rooms
- Fitness centre
- Yoga studio
- Pet spa
- Party room and lounge includes a pool table and catering kitchen and bar that opens onto outdoor terrace with seating and fire pits
According to List of Condos, Kindred Condos calls for the construction of three towers all together to be built across from the first Erin Mills master-planned community found on the southwest corner. The towers will be serviced by a 1,334 unit underground garage.
Kindred Condos is located at Erin Mills, a bustling Mississauga neighbourhood that is defined by its two central occupants: the Erin Mills Town Centre and the Credit Valley Hospital. The Erin Mills Town Centre is Mississauga's second largest mall. It contains 220 retail outlets and is home to several anchor stores.
As a transit-oriented community, this development will take care of the commuting needs of its residents by situating itself close to a regional transportation hub. From GO trains to local rapid express bus service, this neighbourhood is full of transportation options.
