Construction Underway for Wedding and Event Venue in Cambridge

wedding and event venue in cambridge

Hespeler has been chosen as the site for a modern industrial-style event and wedding venue per Cambridge Now. Construction is starting on what used to be the old "Beer Store" and is located at 408 Queen Street West in Cambridge east of Highway 24. It is a 4,000 square foot building that sits at the corner of Queen and Shepherd Streets.

The structure was built in the 1960's and was the home of the beer retailer for over 40 years and eventually sold in 2015. After that it sat vacant for two years and deteriorated badly from the elements and vandalism. The building was then purchased in 2017 and work began to plan the extensive renovation to turn it into an event venue. Get Qualified Leads from Databid.

"We worked with the city for nearly a year to sort out the details. Many intricate details went into the planning of the space to ensure that we were complying with the city requirements on the site plan, but that we were also making the best use of the existing building, allowing the maximum occupancy while not compromising on the style and functionality of the space to our clients."

 - self-serve coat room

 - Large commercial kitchen

 - Private 2,600 square foot courtyard with concrete outdoor fireplace
