Construction is under way on a state-of-the-art speculative industrial facility at the intersection of 51st Street and St. Louis Avenue in Chicago per Chicago Construction News. Conor Commercial Real Estate is building this 316,550 square foot facility located on I-55 on a 19.6 acre site within the Gage Park neighborhood.
Last Mile Logistics Center will have a precast insulated concrete panel exterior with high performance glass at the office areas. It will also include the following:
- 32 truck docks
- 36 foot clear height
- 71 trailer stalls
- parking for 229 vehicles
- 3.1 acre park at the south end of the property with walking paths, outdoor seating and detention pond
According to RE Journals, Walter Murphy, a principal in Lee and Associates' Rosemont office, is marketing the property on behalf of Conor Commercial Real Estate. Delivery on the project is expected by the end of this year.
