The Town of Collingwood is seeking to engage the services of an experienced Contractor to construct Phase 2 of the phased implementation of Heritage Park, which is an existing community park in Town of Collingwood, Ontario.
The works generally includes storm water management features and associated underground infrastructure (within the park and across the Second Street road allowance), lighting, electrical pedestals, and associated electrical infrastructure, asphalt and granular driveway, granular trails, concrete walkways/ sidewalks (for the dog park and along the south side of Second Street), chain-link fencing (for the dog park and existing junior baseball diamond), and planting.

Heritage Park occupies an entire municipal block bounded by High St., Second St., Spruce St. and Third St. and is home to the Collingwood Fire Hall and the Centennial Pool.
The following is a general but not necessarily complete description of the Works to be constructed under the Contract:
1. Erosion control and site protection
2. Removal & disposal of existing storage building, foundation and interior fixtures
3. Removal & disposal of fencing, a portion of the existing concrete skate park surface/ features, a portion of the existing asphalt tennis court surfacing, portions of municipal sidewalk, a portion of granular trail, electrical panels and a light pole
4. Salvaging and relocation of traffic signs
5. Stripping, earthworks, and rough grading
6. Removal and replacement of culverts across Second Street incl. restoration
7. Culverts, catchbasin & area drains
8. Concrete & granular walkways
9. Concrete sidewalk & tactile walking surface indicators
10. Granular & asphalt driveway
11. Chain-link fencing and gates
12. Electrical servicing, guy wires, pedestals, and walkway lighting
13. Planting of trees and shrubs
14. Topsoil and sodding
