An 18 storey mixed-use condominium is being built by Liberty Development in Scarborough. The project named Wish Condos is designed by Turner Fleischer Architects and is located on the southeast corner of Sheppard Avenue East and Pharmacy Avenue according to Ontario Construction Report

According to Toronto.com, the city of Toronto had significant concerns about the size of the proposed mixed use building because the original plans had called for a 30 storey tower. The council then approved a compromise plan for an 18 storey building.

The Sheppard East Light-Rail Transit line, though delayed now until after 2021, has sparked development proposals in the area, and a station at Pharmacy Avenue was planned.

Per Ontario Construction Report, the design will now feature a U-shaped seven storey podium with an eleven storey tower in the northwest corner by the intersection. A three level garage with space for 268 vehicles and 191 bicycles will also be included.

The ground level will also offer space for between six and eight retailers in over 10,500 square feet of space and over 3,400 square feet of condo amenities.

Per Urban Toronto, more amenities share space on the second floor with 264 suites across all upper storeys. The building will top out above the mechanical penthouse at 62.9 metres/206 feet high.
